hello Beautiful people as the topic says i want to install IBM INFORMIX ODBC DRIVER 64 Bits version but i cant find it anywhere i even uninstalled my ibm informix odbc driver package from my pc and re-installed it again to check if i missed something to checkmark at the installation process, but even that i can only install the 32 bit version as the picture shows:
When I install Informix ODBC Drivers that I downloaded from this link: _InformixDrivers.htm, and then try to install any connection application like Connection Audiotext Manager or PDF Wallet Card Wizard, it says that I need to install Informix ODBC drivers, it seems that are not detected.
ibm informix odbc driver download windows 7 64 bit
the setups should properly recognize the ODBC driver if you have it installed - if not, then take a look in your add/remove programs list and make sure you don't have multiple instances of IBM's informix driver installed (IBM allows for this and they don't manage it terribly well).
Thanks for your comments. I download and install the file that you sent me, it says that I only need to install ODBC, .NET and the GLS components, but I didn't found which option slects GLS components so I installed with all options, restart PC ant try to install a connection application, but still says that I must install first IBM Informix database drivers.
I greet you. Please I need your help with ODBC driver and Audio text manager. I have downloaded from the above link and have installed it. Each time I try to connect to unity connection server, I get this error message informix ODBC driver, network connection is broken
Hi Rich,Basically what the log tells you is the Driver failed to create a HDBC handle. It may be an indication your log on credentials are not correct. If it doesn't log on it can't get a handle. That's the initial connection, once the handle is created then "henv" creates a thread to piggy back onto the handle then queries the DB for the database and table names etc.It really doesn't like your categories.... Try the same test using Informix's ODBC driver. Then search Data Directs site on the error. DD is the Company that created these drivers for CR, they should be able to tell you what the exact error message means. You could also search Informix's forums for more info....It may be a permission issue also, be sure you are logged on as the local PC admin and you run the installer as Administrator by right clicking on the setup.exe.Sorry I can't be of more help...ThanksDon\",\"author\":\"username\":\"don.williams\",\"displayName\":\"Don Williams\",\"groupIcons\":[\"name\":\"moderator\",\"title\":\"This user is an SAP Moderator\",\"priority\":20,\"name\":\"employee\",\"title\":\"This user is an SAP Employee\",\"priority\":21],\"suspended\":false,\"isCurrentUser\":false,\"parentAuthor\":\"username\":\"former.member\",\"displayName\":\"Former Member\",\"groupIcons\":[],\"suspended\":true,\"isCurrentUser\":false,\"id\":7827833,\"creationDate\":1288109982000,\"activeRevisionId\":8953903,\"lastActivity\":1288109982000,\"parentId\":7827583,\"originalParentId\":7801983,\"likeCount\":0,\"visibility\":\"full\",\"depth\":0,\"attachments\":[],\"canVoteUpOrCancel\":false,\"relations\":\"canReport\":false,\"visibility\":\"full\",\"canEdit\":false,\"canUseDelete\":false,\"isLiked\":false,\"type\":\"comment\",\"canVoteUpOrCancel\":false,\"canConvertToAnswer\":false,\"canBeModerated\":false,\"canViewRevisions\":false,\"showInReply\":false,\"reported\":false,\"canCancelReport\":false,\"canDelete\":false,\"canVoteDownOrCancel\":false,\"canComment\":false,\"canViewReports\":false,\"isCurrentUserAuthor\":false,\"liked\":false,\"moderatorComment\":false}]},\"7806142\":\"rootParentId\":7806142,\"commentsCount\":2,\"comments\":[\"body\":\"Hi Rich,\\n\\nAppears to be correct.
